You are matrixed into specific Projects of the PALLAS Programme, reporting to the Project Manager and the Head of PMO. You assist the Project Manager in the usual project control activities, e.g. scheduling, statusing, contractor schedule status evaluation, cost and change control, etc.
You advise PMO and Project Managers about arising issues and support in identifying and implementing recovery actions. A brief summary of your responsibilities:

Experience is key for executing this Project Controls challenge successfully! Ideally you gained this experience in technical (infrastructure) projects, comparable in complexity. More than 135 specialists from over 20 countries are working in the PALLAS programme to realize the PALLAS reactor; a state-of-the-art multifunctional nuclear reactor that is being built in the dunes of Petten, just 60 km north of Amsterdam.
This new build ensures over 30% of the world's production of medical isotopes for the next 50 years. And thus ensure the treatment and diagnoses of 30,000 patients a day worldwide. Patients that suffer from life-threatening diseases, such as cancer and cardiovascular diseases.
By conducting various nuclear technology research programs, the PALLAS reactor contributes to the development of a CO2-free energy supply.
