Upon completion of construction, the PALLAS Programme represents a complete infrastructure with capacity to supply medical radioisotopes to more than 30,000 patients per day. Considering that the number of patients treated with medical isotopes increases every year, the demand for such diagnostics and treatments is only expected to grow. The PALLAS Programme is therefore of vital importance.
The commissioning phase follows the completion of construction. To make the facilities operational in accordance with the design, safety, and performance criteria, commissioning requires a carefully conceived and executed process. Commissioning is part of the whole programme and has several crucial steps.
