On Thursday, 9 November, CDA leader Henri Bontenbal paid a visit to the Energy &Health Campus. He visited the PALLAS construction site, where he was briefed on the status of the construction project by Sietsche Eppinga and Hans Buur.
Bontenbal was updated on the importance of medical isotopes for nuclear medicine, paying particular attention to developments in therapeutic isotopes for the treatment of cancer patients.
He was impressed with the progress of the project. The CDA in the Lower House has always fully supported the arrival of the PALLAS-reactor, and it was nice to see how far the preparations for the construction of the reactor have already progressed.
Also present during the visit were Alderman Puck de Nijs of Schagen and Hesther Bouma of the EHC organization.
