You will become a key link in the PMO team. After you have sufficiently 'internalized' the programme and the organization, you will concentrate on identifying the 'missing links'. And that is quite a challenge in a programme with multiple (very) complex subprojects, different contractors and 'feeds' from various disciplines. Your experience and expertise are of great value in structuring and clarifying all planning data. Of course, you are not entirely on your own, but can fall back on a close-knit team of international planning and control specialists.
In bullet-points:
You are an experience (Lead) planner and gained your experience on/with complex (infrastructure) projects in an international setting. Nuclear experience is no requirement, but you do need to have:
A personality test and/or English language proficiency assessment may be administered if deemed necessary;
This position requires a VOG;
More than 135 specialists from more than 20 countries are working in the PALLAS program to realize the PALLAS reactor; a ‘state-of-the-art’ multifunctional nuclear reactor being built in the dunes of Petten, just 60 km north of Amsterdam. This new building will ensure 30% of the world's production of medical isotopes for the next 50 years. These medical isotopes are used to diagnose and treat 30,000 patients a day worldwide suffering from life-threatening diseases such as cancer and cardiovascular disease. And by conducting various nuclear technology research programs, the PALLAS reactor contributes to the development of a CO2-free energy supply.
This extensive and complex programme is supported by the professionals of the PALLAS Project Controls team. This dedicated team takes care of planning & scheduling, project control and risk management for the entire scope and would like to add a Lead Project Planner (Primavera) to the team.
